The 2016 Children’s Scholarship Partner Summit
- February 1, 2016
Last week Kasey Pearce, CiviCore’s Vice President of Operations, attended the 2016 Children’s Scholarship Partner Summit. The Summit is a collaborative event focusing upon education and scholarship programs offered to children nationwide.
During the conference, Kasey presented on the CiviCore Scholarship Application Management solution. Throughout this presentation, Kasey had the opportunity to discuss the Scholarship Application Management software and its application to each of CiviCore’s client partners. Kasey highlighted how each partner was using the solution, as well as their similarities and differences. This exercise prompted an open forum for clients to discuss different approaches to custom configuration of the Scholarship Application Management software, collaboration to overcome difficult roadblocks in the scholarship industry, and brainstorming for solutions to some of the attendees’ biggest scholarship program problems.
For Kasey, there were many important takeaways from the conference. While Kasey interacts with CiviCore client’s on a daily basis, the opportunity to match names and voices to faces was priceless. Additionally, Kasey was able to see how clients are truly using the Scholarship Application Management solution, allowing her to see the hard work CiviCore clients do for students in uncountable ways.
