The 2016 National Mentoring Summit

The 6th annual National Mentoring Summit is quickly approaching, scheduled for January 27-29, 2016. Taking place at the Renaissance in Washington DC, the summit will explore the theme of connection, growth, opportunity.
Bringing over 1,000 people together over a span of 60 workshops, the national mentoring summit will include researchers, corporate partners, and government and civic leaders. Workshop sessions will highlight program models, collaborations, research, and innovations that have proven to positively impact the mentoring field.
To add to the value of the conference, the National Mentoring Summit will include Capitol Hill Day on January 27, 2016. Capitol Hill participants will meet with Senators and Representatives in regard to key bills and issues in Congress and will also receive training and materials to assist them in preparing for congressional appointments. The 2016 National Mentoring Summit hosts recognize that corporate and philanthropic support and engagement is critical to the success of youth in our communities. In an effort to help the youth community connect, grow, and have adequate opportunities, the National Mentoring Summit also includes a Corporate & Philanthropic Track. This session is restricted to private sector professionals and individuals representing philanthropic investors. Experts and leaders in these fields will host sessions focused on supporting and increasing private sector engagement in mentoring. In addition, the session will drive further collaboration and inform human and financial investments in mentoring with a positive return on investment.
