The 10th annual North Texas Giving Day has come to a close with a serious bang! CiviCore would like to congratulate our partners at the Communities Foundation of Texas (CFT) and all the participating nonprofits for carrying out the largest community-based giving day in the history of online fundraising!
2018 North Texas Giving Day: Impact Report
Here is a recap of this year’s event, by the numbers.
- $48.5 million (preliminary results), compared to $39.4 million in 2017, more than a 20% increase year over year
Number of donations:
- 157,184, compared to 137,659 in 2017, more than a 14% increase year over year
Number of participating nonprofits:
- 2,765, compared to 2,723 in 2017, a nearly 2% increase year over year
Perhaps most importantly, however, as CFT strives to deepen its impact on the North Texas community, is that more than 11,000 donors pledged more than 430,000 hours in volunteer service to North Texas. These pledges will no doubt constitute a lasting impact on nonprofits and the North Texas community.
CiviCore has been honored to partner with the Communities Foundation of Texas to support North Texas Giving Day in 2018 through the CiviCore Giving Platform. We are looking forward to working with CFT to continue to enhance the gives day platform and the experience of donating on North Texas Giving Day for donors, non-profit organizations, and the North Texas community. Thank you, Communities Foundation of Texas, for all you do!
