Vice President of Projects
Mark Forward serves as CiviCore’s Vice President of Projects. Mark has over 20 years of experience managing non-profit organizations, foundations, and business associations with a global footprint.
Mark spent 17 years at Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), where he served as Chief Operating Officer. With its affiliated alumni association, World Presidents’ Organization, is a network of 25,000 CEOs in 120 countries whose companies represent an estimated $6 Trillion in annual revenue. YPO and its members are dedicated to creating “better leaders through education and idea exchange” via local support groups and a broad array of international programming.
Mark was also Chief Operating Officer for the One Earth Future Foundation (OEF), an organization that leads initiatives aimed at improving systems that prevent armed conflict. With a special focus on stabilizing economies in fragile, post-conflict states including Somalia and Colombia, OEF’s strategy is to illuminate significant challenges with empirical data, communicate that data to stakeholders in an apolitical, unbiased fashion, and often serve as a neutral convener.
Mark holds an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University, a Masters in English Literature from James Madison University, and a Bachelor’s degree in History and English from the University of North Texas.
Mark lives in Denver, Colorado, with his wife and three daughters. He enjoys running, hiking, barbecuing, loud music, and English soccer.
