Successful Day for Pittsburgh Gives!

Ryan Simon Giving

CiviCore would like to extend a big congratulations to the Pittsburgh Foundation and all the participating nonprofits for a successful Day of Giving! 15,627 donations were received and distributed to 857 organizations with donations totaling more than $2 million! We are thrilled to see the work of nonprofits being recognized and supported in the community.

According to Natasha Lindstrom of the Tribune-Review:  “The reboot of Western Pennsylvania’s largest single giving event spurred sector-wide enthusiasm, social media blitzes and financial boosts for nonprofits across Allegheny, Butler and Westmoreland counties.”

“We had no glitches, no system problems, very few calls from confused or frustrated donors,” The Pittsburgh Foundation CEO Max King said late-afternoon.”

CiviCore works year-round to ensure that our Giving Platforms run as smoothly as possible. It is critical to us that donors and nonprofits have a positive and seamless experience. We are so pleased to hear the great feedback from the Pittsburgh community. We look forward to continuing our relationship with the Pittsburgh Foundation and adapting our platform to continuously meet and exceed their growing needs.
