CiviCore's History

Pioneers in providing the social sector with affordable web based software systems

CiviCore was founded in 2000 by Charles Naumer and Rich Rainaldi with the objective of utilizing the web to provide organizations in the social sector with cost effective, capacity building information technology solutions. Charles and Rich both had backgrounds deep in the social sector and have lifelong passions to improve social conditions locally, nationally and internationally.

Charles had recently built two successful web based product companies, one of which was sold to a fortune 500 company.  His passion for the social sector gave him a desire to apply similar methods and products within the social sector. Charles has demonstrated a life-long commitment to social service having served on several non-profit boards, founded and run a mentoring non-profit organization and conducted social science research regarding education and youth issues.

Rich had served as the vice president of community affairs for U.S. Bank as well as working for the Piton Foundation as a Program Officer. Rich has served on over a dozen non-profit boards and public commissions. He has also been involved in the start-up of numerous non-profit organizations.

The combination of their skills and efforts to build CiviCore as an organization to serve the social sector has been a natural fit.  As a result CiviCore has built one of the most comprehensive suites of information technology solutions in the market and has one of the highest implementation success rates of any technology firm across all sectors.
